-Do you require a deposit?
We do require a small deposit for events on Saturdays during the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day), and for events where a larger staff is needed (two or more Servers). Typically, we require a deposit equivalent to one hour of service per Server. Your deposit is fully refundable up until two (2) weeks prior to an event. If you cancel within the two week period, your deposit is held on account towards a future party. That deposit money will never expire and can be used on any future booking.
-What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently, we accept cash and checks. Your Server will prepare a bill at the end of the event based on how many hours they were there (less any deposit monies received). They will always round up to the half hour. You can make your checks payable directly to your Server(s) on staff that evening.
-Do you have a minimum of time the Servers need to be there?
Yes. We require a four (4) hour minimum on all parties/events. However, there is no maximum. Meaning: when we are at your party, we are never rushing out to go to another event. We will stay as long as the Host/Hostess needs us to stay.
-If I hire two Servers and two Bartenders, but many of my guests don't show up, or leave early, do I have to keep all those Servers on staff?
As long as you pay your Servers the required four hours, you can cut Servers at any time.
-Do your Servers speak English?
Yes, they are all 100% English-speaking.
-How many Servers will I need for my Party?
That answer varies with every party... Some people just want an extra pair of hands to help out; some want to do literally nothing but enjoy themselves at their party.
When we first speak, I will try and get a feel for how the Host/Hostess wants the event to go, and we can work on staffing from there to customize the perfect scenario.
-Can your Servers do some light cooking at my party?
Absolutely. Please be sure to advise me when you call that you need a Server who is proficient in the kitchen and comfortable with cooking, etc
.-Do your bartenders provide the alcohol?
No they do not. They will bring along some of their own tools, but we do not provide alcohol or food to the events. We are strictly a Service business.
